An CCI ARC Grant has been received for the first quarter of 2011. This award, presented by The Center for Cultural Innovation, will help establish a renewable-energy power station at the site of the Desert Lighthouse. The new power resource will replace a previously limiting gas generator allowing for uninterrupted operation of the rotating light. |
The land-based art project Desert Lighthouse, presented by the Center for Land Use Interpretation at their Desert Research Station in Hinkley, California, will be on view in late March 2011.
